About Me

I was born in Iceland and raised in Rochester, NY.  My professional experience spans multiple roles, to include serving in the United States Marine Corps from 2011-2019 and working in the military public affairs field, including journalism, editorial, and marketing for recruiters. Since then, I've lived in Baltimore with my wife to pursue an illustration career. I grew my artistic skills by attending the Maryland Institute College of Art. Excellence in what I do and challenging myself everyday are a part of my core values. I do this by using my skills in draftsmanship, inking, and digital painting to explore and create speculative fictional worlds filled with unique characters and places. I also use these stories to explore themes from heroic tales from the past. I think that the tales of old can motivate people to be the best they can be, and I aspire to create a story that people can look to for inspiration.
